How to use the Guide
Structure of the Estonian Culture guide
The Guide is divided into 19 general topic areas, plus a section about cultural portals around the world. The fine arts form the first group, the second encompasses cultural infrastructure, and the third deals more generally with cultural management and policy. Each main topic is divided into subtopics, many of which are the same in each section, such as ‘Associations’ and ‘Education’. In each main topic, the introductory text about the sector is followed by a list of the most central organisations and web resources (i.e. links to other websites or downloadable documents) of the sector.
Notebook
Each user can save one’s own list of useful contacts in the notebook – when viewing either the list of organisations or the page of a specific organisation, click on the “Add to notebook” button. The list of organisations, including contacts and a short description will be saved in a printing-friendly format in the Notebook section (you will find the link in the main top menu).
If you want to find the list of saved contacts during your next visit to the Estonian Culture Guide, you have to sign up as a registered user.
How to enter data about your organisation
If you have not found your organisation in the Estonian Culture Guide and would like to include it in our listing, you can fill in the data form in Estonian and add an English translation here. The data will be checked and published as soon as possible. For inquiries and support, mail to ekt@einst.ee or call +372 63 14 355 (Estonian Institute).
