Cultural education

EAA is the only public university in Estonia providing higher education in fine arts, design, architecture, media, art history and conservation; working uninterruped since 1914. The EAA aims to become a leading national and international centre of innovation in the field of visual culture.

In Tartu Art College, students can acquire applied higher education in the speciality of audiovisual arts, design and applied art, conservation and restoration and free arts.

Estonian Folk Culture Development and Training Centre (Estonian Folk Culture Centre), a governmental body, participates in development of the cultural policy, contributes to the survival and evolution of the folk culture and appreciation of intangible heritage, carries out professional training courses for adults.
