Design and applied arts

An association uniting and representing Estonian designers; the objective of the association is to support design in the broader sense of the word. The organisation focuses on the development of professional skills and vocational knowledge of designers.

ETDM deals mainly with Estonian historic and contemporary applied art and design. The museum's copious and varied collection with almost 15 000 items offers the largest and most comprehensive overview of Estonian professional applied art and design.

MTÜ Disainiöö (DesignNIGHT) is a on-profit organisation operating in public interest. The main activity is the promotion of design by organizing different events and initiating cooperation projects thereby contributing to the creation of a better living environment and the development of Estonian culture.
